This type of Biotrickling Technology was developed since 1991 to combine the
advantages of a biofilter and a bioscrubber with a focus to reduce the space
requirements and the operating costs. Additinally nonsoluble VOC`s should
possible be removed from waste gas in acceptable residence times.
More then 20 plants have been installed for odour and VOC removal since 1993.
